There are also some new sound demos on the site including a physical
modeling based djembe. The gui is no longer included due to huge

seems the configure script still requires the gui:

configure: error: cannot find sources (gui.c) in . or ..
i tried commenting out the offending line, but that was just a shot in
the dark, really ... me wants me smack!
