Hi All,
I'm new to this forum and need some help to configure ALSA sound support in
linux kernel 2.6.11.
I have compiled the kernel for ALSA support with following kernel config
marco enabled for
ALSA support.
CONFIG_SOUND=y
# Advance Linux Sound Architecture
CONFIG_SND=y
CONFIG_SND_TIMER=y
CONFIG_SND_PCM=y
CONFIG_SND_SEQUENCER=y
CONFIG_SND_VIRMIDI=y
After executing the kernel on OMAP 2420 I got the following devices for
ALSA in /dev/snd [controlC0 midiC0D0 midiC0D1 midiC0D2 midiC0D3 seq
timer] but the snd
device which can play the PCM data is not coming up.
Can you suggest me why this snd device is not coming up ?
