As long as I've seen the code of 2.0.34, there's no update about sound
driver from 2.0.33. So, it must be a problem of rpm'ed 2.0.34 kernel.
Probably it includes some new patches to sound driver and conflicts
with the awedrv patch.
Anyway, can you tell us how did you update the system and show the
error message? Then we can discuss more precisely about it.
