Hi everybody! I wonder why I can't get stereo sound when playing music CD or watching TV on Linux. Playing sound files (.wav or .au) doesn't seem to be any problem. Sound is coming from two speakers in opposite to CD music which comes only over one channel. The second speaker is dead. No cable prob! Under Windows it works just fine. My system: SuSE Linux 6.2, Kernel 2.2.12, Soundblaster AWE64 Value, SCSI-CDROM, Hauppauge WinTV/Radio, all essential drivers compiled in. Yours, T. J. -- T. J.
