Source: Jussi Hamalainen <2:221/376> 22 Jun 99 18:31:44 --- If you are using Slackware, but are tired of libc5, I've found just the site for you: ftp://sagan.hoxnet.com/pub/glibc2-slackware/ I also set up a mirror of the slakware directory at: ftp://ftp.irccrew.org/glibc-slackware/ The distribution isn't complete, but it's got most of the stuff you need to get a fairly usable Linux setup up and running, including X11. If you miss something, go get the sources from ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/linux/slackware/source/ and compile it yourself. You might also want to make a tgz out of the binaries and give it back to the glibc Slackware project. If you really don't care that much about compiling programs yourself, you can just grab the software as an rpm and use rpm2tgz to install it. -=[ Count Zero / TBH - Jussi Hamalainen - email [EMAIL PROTECTED] ]=- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Utk berhenti langganan, kirim email ke [EMAIL PROTECTED] Informasi arsip di http://www.linux.or.id/milis.php3 Pengelola dapat dihubungi lewat [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hosted by http://www.Indoglobal.com
