Pessoal,
j� esgotei todas minhas possibilidades de solu��o. Vamos ver se algu�m tem
alguma id�ia...
Eu tinha um HD master de uns 40Gb. Nele estavam o Win98 na particao primaria
e o CL 7 no restante do disco.
Havia o HD antigo como slave tb, de uns 3.2 Gb. Com uma particao FAT e outra
FAT32.
Minha id�ia era instalar o CL 8 "por cima" do CL 7. N�o fa�o questao de
manter os dados. Basta instalar mesmo.
Consegui os discos do CL 8, gerei o disco de boot, reiniciei, escolhi as
opcoes de instalar em portugues, confirmei a opcao do mouse que ele sugeriu,
selecionei o teclado.
Depois disso sempre d� a mesma tela. J� usei o Partition Magic pelo win e
exclui minha antiga particao extendida do Linux, mas mesmo assim n�o passa
dessa mensagem de erro:

depois que exclui o conectiva linux 7, os logs nao foram mais gerados no
disquete
