No sei ao certo, mas existe a opo do UDF no kernel 2.6.0-test:

"UDF file system support (UDF_FS)

This is the new file system used on some CD-ROMs and DVDs. Say Y if
you intend to mount DVD discs or CDRW's written in packet mode, or
if written to by other UDF utilities, such as DirectCD.
Please read <file:Documentation/filesystems/udf.txt>.

This file system support is also available as a module ( = code
which can be inserted in and removed from the running kernel
whenever you want). The module is called udf. If you want to
compile it as a module, say M here and read
<file:Documentation/modules.txt>.

If unsure, say N."

O udf.txt diz:

"Write support requires a block driver which supports writing. The
current scsi and ide cdrom drivers do not support writing."

Vou experimentar criar um CD-RW com o packet write no Windows, e ver se
o
Linux consegue mont-lo. O problema que d uma preguia bootar o
Windows... :P :P :P

PS. Me corrijam se estiver falando besteira :)
