Creio que vc tenha que carregar a op��o "Auto-Geometry Resizing support" que est� em "ATA/IDE/MFM/RLL support" -> "IDE, ATA and ATAPI Block devices" da configura��o do seu kernel. Ou talvez ainda "Advanced partition selection" em "File systems".
