Acho que voc� deve aplicar um patch (4) no kernel, mas leia (3), e ent�o
recriar o cd de instala��o (1).
Conforme (7) existe o driver para RHEL 3.0 tamb�m. Voc� pode tentar usar
para o Fedora...
1. Installation Instructions
1.1. Installing Red Hat* Linux 9.0, AS2.1
1) Install the Serial ATA hard drives and configure RAID in BIOS.
2) Boot from the operating system CDROM.
3) At the boot menu, type 'linux dd' and press ENTER.
4) Follow the on-screens prompts to insert the driver disk.
5) Procede with the normal Red Hat installation steps.
6) At the re-boot add noacpi noapic into the boot option

2.1. Known/Unresolved or FYI Issues
1) All Red Hat:
apply noapic noacpi into the boot up option, otherwise SATA
driver
will have interrupt problem and ended up with I/O error
resulting
in boot failure.

tentei instalar o FC3... mas num deu em nada... como jah falei, estou usando
a placa mae intel SE7210TP1-E com a controladora de RAID Adaptec onboard.
Pelo que vi na net (site da intel, adaptec, google...) essa controladora s�
teve suporte at� o Red Hat 9 com kernel 2.4.20-8... O driver para esse
kernel � o aarich-2.01.021-rh90. O que eu gostaria mesmo � que eu estivesse
errado e algum de vcs tivesse esse driver pra Fedora 3 ou pelo menos o fonte
pra eu compilar...
