Pessoal,
Instalei recentemente o Debian Sarge 3.1 ("stable").
Ligo o micro, o som não funciona.
Configuro com alsaconf e o som volta a funcionar, mas aí a placa
de captura de v ídeo (bttv) deixa de funcionar.
Quando reinicio o micro o som volta a não funcionar.
Aparece a seguinte mensagem no arquivo /var/log/messages:
kernel: VIA 82xx Audio: probe of 0000:00:11.5 failed with error -12
Se eu tento remover e recarregar o módulo:
rmmod snd_via82xx
modprobe snd_via82xx
Vem a seguinte mensagem:
kernel: cannot find the slot for index 0 (range 0-0)
kernel: VIA 82xx Audio: probe of 0000:00:11.5 failed with error -12
Procurei bastante na Internet, mas o mais próximo que eu encontrei foi:

Under 2.6.12-1-amd64-k8-smp my via82xx sound works fine (on-board sound
on Asus A8V). Under 2.6.14, I get:
kernel: cannot find the slot for index 0 (range 0-0)
kernel: VIA 82xx Audio: probe of 0000:00:11.5 failed with error -12
Under 2.6.12, I think these are the kernel messages from it loading:
kernel: ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:11.5[C] -> GSI 22 (level, low) -> IRQ 22
kernel: PCI: Via IRQ fixup for 0000:00:11.5, from 5 to 6

É problema no Kernel?
Tem como resolver sem mexer no Kernel?
O que vocês recomendam? É melhor eu instalar uma versão "testing" do Debian?
