Your message gives absolutely no indication of what
you're questioning, but yes, I am sure that exit(int)
returns a value to the calling program.  By
convention exit() called with a non-zero parameter
generally means an error occurred.  

If you're questioning the program I wrote, as I said,
that was to arrive at a point, not a program.  There
were several bugs I saw even as writing it, but as
stated in my first message I didn't care.  I was
throwing something together to show how exit() works.

Perhaps I need sleep and/or am being too sensitive,
but if you're going to question me, please say what
it is that you're questioning.  Your message was
useless.  I'm always more than happy to help in any
way I can, but if I need to clarify something, I need
to know what it is I need to clarify.
