The question is a bit offtopic but many ppl here will surely know the
answer.

What is the purpose of the i_dtime field? Yes, I know what it means I just
cant figure out whats the purpose, and how are situations like 

(i_dtime == 0) && (i_links_count == 0)    or
(i_dtime != 0) && (i_links_count != 0)    

possible? I ve looked at the source and storing the corect (!zero)
i_dtime follows zeroing of the i_links_count in ext2_update_inode()
