well why shouldn't it? Work means you feed it a c source file and it does
something to it (which might be compiling, or just spewing errors). The worse
thing that can happen is you try and compile something and get:

Segmentation violation (core dumped)

at that point you stop debugging your code and start debugging the compiler.
