Have you used rexec

I'm using the rexecd included with the slackware distribution and a client
which a I've downloaded from the net. The problem is that I get a message
of "permission denied" on the client side. I have enabled the demon on the
server side and  there is no problem with the hosts.deny file.
Any experience would be helpful.
