Howdie,

I have an Internal Modem (cheap thingy) on ttyS3, and a Serial Terminal
(Wyse 185) on ttyS0.

problem: the terminal is really really slow, we estimated about 16
characters bursts every 20 seconds.

We looked at the Serial-HOWTO and it said something about IRQconflicts,
but couldn't find any of those.

The terminal and cable work fine on another computer (containing an
external modem).

Questions: Is it a problem with the internal modem?
Is it a problem with IRQs?
(Why? ttyS0 and ttyS3 are different COMports using different IRQ's
etc)
Would it help if I tried to put either the internal modem or the
serial port connected to the terminal on a different IRQ using
setserial?
If so, what jumpersettings/BIOS and all other stuff need I change?
Can somebody point me to some COMtestapplications under Linux besides
setserial?

In other words: HELP!
