I have just started using the new DGA (fullscreen X) port of Xmame, and since
I use a 1152x864 screen, I want to be able to switch on the fly to a lower
resolution, like 512x384. I thought I had XF86Config set correctly for this,
but I discovered it wasn't working for me anymore. Ctrl-Alt plus & minus
don't change the video mode

I am running RedHat5.1, with the latest XFree updates (3.3.2.3-18). DontZoom
and XKBDDisable are both commented out in my XFree86. Here is the Screen
section from my XF86Config:

Section "Screen"
    Driver "svga"
    # Use Device "Generic VGA" for Standard VGA 320x200x256
    #Device "Generic VGA"
    Device "My Video Card"
    Monitor "MAG Impression 17"
    DefaultColorDepth 16
    Subsection "Display"
        Depth 16
        Modes "1152x864" "512x384"
        ViewPort 0 0
        Virtual 0 0
    EndSubsection
    Subsection "Display"
        Depth 8
        Modes "1152x864" "512x384"
        ViewPort 0 0
        Virtual 0 0
    EndSubsection
EndSection

I have tried the following: commenting out my xmodmap line and rebooting;
lowering my ISA bus clock (assume kbd clock comes off this). My keyboard is
an IBM model KB-8923, with Win95 keys. XFree86 is configured to the default
of the 101 key PC/US keyboard, which worked fine for me before.

Also, I seem to remember there was a utility that could be run from an xterm
to switch the video mode among the selections in the "Modes" line of
XF86Config. I have not been able to find it, if someone could point me to it
I would appreciate it.
