Hi all,
I'm sorry for my questions that might seems obvious, but i'm a beginner
in the world of Linux !
I think i 'm getting closer to my problem, but X window is still not
working...
I've just upgraded to Xfree86 3.3.2, and run 'XF86Setup' successfully;
But here's what happens:
I Launch 'startx', the screens blinks, a background appears with a
cross mouse pointer (that i can move if I'm fast enough), and the server
is shut down. I can see the regular last statement: "Waiting for Xserver
to shut down".
I edited "xinitrc" and saw at the end of it that under a certain
condition (under a "IF" statement) it executes 'fvwm' or (after "ELSE"
statement) it executes 'twm'.
So I decided to manually launch those applications and here's what I
get:
        - with 'twm': Unable to open display
        - with 'fvwm': libXpm.so.4: cannot open shared object file: no
such file or directory

Then I tried to execute 'display', and I get :
            error in loading shared libraries
libMagick.so.3.9: cannot open shared object file: no such
file or directory

Now i don't know what else to do, can anybody help, please ?

Tanguy
