Assuming that all the gateways have their routing configured correctly
for passing traffic to where it is supposed to go, all you have to do
is set the default route on all hosts on net1 to point to gw12 (its
x.x.1.1 interface). And all the hosts on net4 with a default route
pointing to gw34 (its x.x.4.1 interface).
It is immaterial how any of the networking beyond net1 is configured
or what it looks like - let the routers worry about that. It can be
as complex or as simple as you like, doesn't matter. The only
important thing for any host on any subnet is that they know where to
send packets that are not destined for the local network (and that is
their local router).
