I am using my machine as a workstation, not a server.
Is there any reason I should be running amd?
If not, what documentation is there to tell me how
to reconfigure my machine? I rgrepped the HOWTO docs
and didn't find anything that explained whether amd
was a required part of the OS.
"locate" is still running. There was a lot of disk activity
at the beginning and now there is none. It's my impression
that amd is a bottleneck.
I am running 2.2.0-pre7ac with an installation built from
the rawhide.redhat.com RPMs.
