Hi,
I have a strange problem with syslogd. Every now and then
(weeks apart) I get this messages on all my xterms:

Today I made an effort to track it down, and I found this
odd sequence in the logs. I normally log fetchmail to
/var/log/maillog so these dots should not be here.
My guess is that fetchmail takes to much time to complete/
flush its log-writes so syslogd gets confused. I'm not
sure about this however. Can anyone seen this beaviour
before?
Why is 'heaven' wall`ed ??? I have a
*.emerg *
entry in my syslogd.conf file but this isn't/shouldn't
be interpreted as an emerg message, right?
Insights are very welcome,
