i just install ncurse4 and now, when ever i ren less or man, it says
"WARNING TERMINAL NOT FULLY FUNCTIONALBE" . when i logout from my box,
it says "terminal "linux" unknown" or something.. i am running linux on
my own PC and not on a dumb terminal.. previously, it was ok.. and a
check on "EXPORT" shows that ther TERm="linux" i changed it to
TERM="VT100" and the problem persist. any clues? did the ncurse4
installation / upgrade screw my terminal?
and what is /usr/lib/shared/terminfo for? i remembered i had to mv
/usr/lib/terminfo to another dir b4 i could install ncurse4.
any input greatly appreciated
