I'm wondering if someone might know what to problem here would be are
atleast what area I should poke about in.
A while back I was running Linux (Slack ware 3.1) on my Cyrix 166 had a
ATI Xpression and a SB 16 with a 28.8/33.6.
I had it all set up just nice X-Window and the like and real player
worked greatish. Now after coming back to Linux
from a windows stint I find that real player (same version) Sound very
bad. But I've also changed my set-up
ATI Xpert@Play, GUS Max, and an ASDL link to the net. Real Players
sound/video jumps around alot. If it doeasn't have
focus it sounds pretty bad, like it's got an echo and warble. The video
is I guess ok, but the sound has got to change.
Here's my question, could to problem lay with the video drivers because
there is a focus issue, or the sound drivers
because it's a sound issue, or with my ASDL for packed dropping or some
other mysterious Internet thing?
