I have done something very similar to the above when copying my system to
a hard drive that I am then going to put in another machine... Seems like
there should be similar tricks for floppies.  If this is too sketchy or
you have problems, let me know... I will try the above procedure tonight
to see if I can get it to work and post some more details.
