hi,
i have been working on getting a local newserver using netscape as the
client
but have some questions that i am not able to solve. Currently the
newserver will
allow me to access created groups using the 'ctlinnd' command but although
i have
created the discussion group and am prompted for username - password pair and
accepted for submitting to discussion group i am unable to email the
discussion
group period. Do i need to include a completed /etc/news/moderators? My
thoughts
were to create a user whose home directory is /var/spool/news then have this
users name aliases to the discussion group name so that all email will arrive
and be readable to all who have access rights to this discussion group. Am i
off base or on track? About to try but this is about attempt 100 to get the
configuration right for local newserver configuration. Any help would be
great!
