I must be missing something, and would appreciate some help. I am trying to set up sendmail on one machine so that all out-going mail is routed through it, and so that it modifies all sender-related addresses within the out-going mail such that all of it looks like its coming from my public node name. I have successfully routed mail to this server by adding "DS<its-node-name>" to the sendmail.cf file on each other system. I cannot, however, figure out how to get it to masquerade as my public node name. I have tried adding "DM<my-public-node-name>" and "CM<name ...>" (where "name"s are those of my private nodes) to its sendmail.cf file, but that doesn't seem to work. In case it either matters or is helpful, I am starting with the sendmail.cf file which comes with Red Hat 5.1.
