That's the way I do it:
You can mount your dos partition in your linux directory tree. mount does not
depend on the partition ID.
There is a way to create a dosimage file to boot from and switch C: to the
mounted directory in AUTOEXEC.BAT. It's described in the dosemu documentation.
Sorry, can't tell you more at the moment. I haven't touched that for a long
time, and since I am at work now, I can't look it up, too.
