Hi, I'm attempting to set up an intranet web server using Red Hat Linux, and I am kinda stuck. I successfully (i think) installed RHL, Apache, and anonymous ftp on the machine. I have properly (i think) setup the network card (I can ping both ways - w95 to rhl and visa versa), but when I attempt to view the http://localhost or 192.168.0.7 (the RHL boxes IP address), I get 'connection refused' back from my browser (Netscape 4.x and IE 4.x). I can not ftp into the system as a valid user, as I get a connection refused error as well. I can do an anonmous ftp and retrive files though. Also, I need to learn how to set to do a remote telnet session into the RHL box via the network (tcp/ip address) for maintenance. Any Suggestions! Thanks, Charles [EMAIL PROTECTED]
