Step 1 -- find the FCC ID Number on the modem board.

Step 2 -- go to URL http://www.o2.net/~gromitkc/winmodem.html and see what
it says about a modem with that FCC ID.

Would anyone else on this list who is contemplating buying an internel modem
for use with Linux PLEASE make a note of this same URL and check it BEFORE
buying?
