slackware3.4 setup disk siuts question.

Dear all,
     I unpacked slackware3.4 bare.i to a boot disk, when I boot
my PC with disk, my PC died in LILO.... screen.
     I tried several PC, and used several bare.i in different CD.
It was same, I think it is the problem in slackware.
     Can anyone tell me how to sovle this problem?
