Since rh6 was installed, I've experienced some problems. First nfs(d)
gives me a lot of errors when loaded as a module. It just can't find the
modules, same 4 ipx. Compiled into kernel both work fine. But nfsd gives
me every time (when shutting down):

Shutting down NFS services: [ OK ]
Shutting down NFS mountd: [ OK ]
Shutting down NFS daemon: nfsd: terminating on signal 9
nfsd: terminating on signal 9
nfsd: terminating on signal 9
nfsd: terminating on signal 9
nfsd: terminating on signal 9
nfsd: terminating on signal 9
nfsd: terminating on signal 9
nfsd: terminating on signal 9
nfsd: last server exiting
                                                           [ OK ]
Shutting down NFS quotas: [ OK ]
Shutting down NFS statd: [ OK ]

That 'terminating on signal 9' where does it come from, is there a
normal shutdown possible?
Second, from time 2 time the script 4 bringing up lo & eth0 gives me
this (friends of mine also got it):

May 8 01:40:09 apollo modprobe: can't locate module lo:0
May 8 01:40:09 apollo modprobe: can't locate module lo:1
May 8 01:40:09 apollo modprobe: can't locate module lo:2
May 8 01:40:09 apollo modprobe: can't locate module lo:3
May 8 01:40:09 apollo modprobe: can't locate module lo:4
...
..'till 49. Same 4 eth0.
...
May 8 01:40:12 apollo modprobe: can't locate module eth0:48
May 8 01:40:12 apollo modprobe: can't locate module eth0:49

Now some cosmetic things. I have a font called '8x14thin' from old
slackware. It's realy nice and u can read very easy on a 80x34(or40)
screen. It doesn't seem 2 work anymore in rh6 with SVGATextMode (even with
consolechars).

And in mc, when tryin' 2 edit a script file the internal editor gives me
a:

 Load syntax file
Error in file /root/.cedit/Syntax on line 40
 [ Dismiss ]

I've tried variations 4 /root/.cedit/Syntax line 40 but it doesn't work.

I'm runnin' out of ideas 4 solvin' those things. can anyone help?

Michael
