I'm running RedHAt 5.1 and on another machine 5.2. I know that under the control panel and linux-config there is a box in the gui to enable IP forwarding, but how would I otherwise check to see if it has been compiled into the kernal? also, RedHat's distributions do have Ip Forwarding compiled into the kernal by default...don't they?
