Sax config problem with hercules stingray

Hello,   i have suse 6.0 2.0.36 installed.     when iam trying to configure my graphic card (hercules stingray 128) the auto-detection of sax works fine and detect the right values.   When i want to make the test - it leaves with the errormsg: cannot find defind aperture size .....   when i change to 2 megs a. size the test works and startx switches to 16 colours.   Can anyone help me?
