Just start/stop your daemons in the init script. It's best to do the start/stop
of the interfaces from /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts, as that'll let you use
the ifup/ifdown commands.

Your init script looks okay, except for one thing.

># chkconfig: 2345 97 12

You're starting/stopping the daemons way too late/early. They should be started
before network, and stopped after network. Check your system to be sure, but my
network init script says:

    # chkconfig: 2345 10 90

I would suggest, therefore, that you use something like:

    # chkconfig: 2345 9 91
