How much stuff do you have? If it's small I'd recommend a weekly or so full
backup and a daily incremental backup. I have such a setup (just restored from
it today), and it goes to my ls120 drive with more than enough space. If you
want the script I can send it to you. It's in perl and easy to customize to
your own system.
