It appears that you need some libraries. You need to fullfill these
dependancies. these libraries are on your cdrom <or whatever > somewhere.
some of those libraries appear to be X libraries. did you install xfree86 ?
you may also try to run:

# ldconfig -v

maybe you just need to tell the system where the libraries are..

see if you have these libraries.

# updatedb
# locate libSM.s0.6
#  locate libICE.so.6
#  locate  libX11.so.6
#  locate  libtermcap.so.2
#  locate  libc.so.5

see if you find anything ...

Subject: [Fwd: HELP with Vi!!]

Hi all

    The Slakware version is 3.2 and Linux Kernel 2.0.30.
    I do:
    #ldd /usr/bin/vi and it says:
            libSM.s0.6 => not found
            libICE.so.6 => not found
            libX11.so.6 => not found
            libtermcap.so.2 => /lib/libtermcap.so.2
            libc.so.5 => /lib/libc.so.5

    and I can't execute vi editor.
    What should I do?
            Thanks
                    Ins

    Wojtek: Thanks again, I'm trying here if someone can help me.
