How to stop graphical boot up screen in Caldera Openlinux 2.2

Hello:

A Quick question here...is there ANY way to get rid of the annoying
boot up graphical screen in Caldera OpenLinux 2.2...I'd much rather
see the processes as they start on the "old" character based
screen....
