To get a definitive answer to all these sorts of questions about
redhat, check the support pages at:
http://www.redhat.com/support/
There are lists of video and sound cards and all sorts of other
hardware that are and are not known to be supported. (Follow the
links to the hardware support pages).
2.
Use the **update** XFree86 RPM packages that have been issued for
redhat 6.0. Both bugs and security problems have been fixed, and
there has been a version bump in the process... more cards are now
supported in the new drivers.
3.
RedHat 6.1 has recently been released. It now uses a way cool new GUI
installer. However, if you want to use it, first check the errata
pages (found at the same URL above).
