I think this is a great idea.

It is one of the tenets of Linux Macho that Bill Gates never did anything
useful, but it seems to me he got rich off one very creative and useful
insight -- that computers should and can be made "for my mother to use," his
stated design criterion.

I think the Open Source Movement should be simply upgrading his standard two
steps: software should be usable by anybody, the Microsoft Rule, and it
should work properly to get useful work done, a couple of ideas that
Microsoft didn't quite take aboard.
