Hey Thiharie, you and Ramit proposed a talk for next ILUG-D meeting. Is that
still on?
And what about this month's meeting. Does DCE suit everyone?? Somebody
hinted at an install fest in the June meet, could we have it this time?
There are a lot of interested but uninitiated guys in DCE... and we'll never
have a better newbie population for an Install fest. Any ideas?
And in case you might like to know, DCE has a full-fledged Linux
lab now.There are a few computers right now.. running nothing but Linux.And
we are expecting to get 20 PII's delivered tomorrow, guess what OS they'll
run!! I
couldnt network them.. because I dont know how to implement ambitious things
like samba and NFS..But thats soon to be done, earlier if somebody helps.
Its taken more marketing than technical effort to get this going... but
nevertheless, I could do with a pats or two on my back :-).
