Hi,
I could try and get my computer institute (IBM-ACE) into sponsoring some
of the costs. Just need to know howmuch promotional oppurtunity we can grant
them. Particularly, which of the following would be allowed:
1)Banners, posters etc.
2)Handouts.
3)Setting up a table for them... for a counsellor or two. (The counsellors
would be of the fairer sex -- so note that glamour part ;-).
4)Any demo or presentation. (They would bring their equipment -- we could
use it too.)
5)Anything else?
Demo suggestion :
1)Something funfilled. Doom and quake and whatever. Multiplayer network
games. Chat, mail and news on a network -- Would be a nice attraction, dont
you think?
And here is what i can do at the LDD.
1)Get my computer and modem.
2)Be present through the day and volunteer for whatever i can and am asked
to do. Can play doom and quake. Can chat. Can handle newbie questions.
3)Gather some crowd.
4)This is not sure -- But i can try to get made nice sub 100Rs T-shirts
(distributed at costprice+expenses). It would be possible only if people
make design contributions and confirm requests for atleast 100 pieces. A
multicolor penguin wont really be possible.... :-(
