I'm not sure as i havent ever tried any of this. But why dont you copy
the module ne.o as ne1.o and ne2.o and make your conf.modules as
alias eth0 ne
alias eth1 ne1
alias eth2 ne2
options blah blah
Please post back if this works. And if it doesnt, and if there is
something fundamentally wrong with this approach, will someone please point
out?
