Firstly my appologies for sounding sarcastic in my email. Another appology for missing out the NETMASK !!!! The 12.10.198.112 has a netmask of 255.255.255.248 112 : 01110000 248 : 11111000 so what we have is that the router will send any packet with destination 01110xxx that is equal to seven machines starting from 12.10.198.112 A question for Raj - am I writting too much !! some people seem to want to unsubscribe from the mailing list after reading my emails :).
