well,
i dont think he's been able to join yet(prasath).
but he's using rh 6.1
which he just installed a few days earlier,
he's been using rh 5.2(i guess) for some 2 yrs.
and was he amaaaaazed to see the gui!!!
he said this is his dream machine lol!
but he was having problems in opening applications frm the menu in the gui,
he'd click them and nothing would happen....wonder if its solved now..any
info on that?some items from the taskbar too wont respond.
he's doing chemical engg.


anyway...here's a mail i intended to send to the list and accidently sent it
to leo only :-
absolutely.......just gimmi time til 17th.... exams will be over,
ill be there dont worry,

and people...anyone volunteering to do someting about the list archives,
we'll try to compile a sort of faq, or a database of question and answers or
anything actually showing how much useful stuff has been done on the site
and for easy referance. just mail me or leo....
