i am assuming that u r using an external modem.... a GVC 33.6 modem works
fine using either wvdial/kppp. just set the init strings properly and it
shud work... also u might hav to set the /dev/modem to link to the proper
serial port..... (use the redhat modem setup tool to do this under redhat or
mandrake, or manually make a symbolic link). In case u still hav problems
try sending a log of the output of wvdial or kppp as that can help us in
getting to know exactly where u r having yr problem...
