i would like to know a thing or two -
when i send mail using mutt , elm etc how does the mail i send get to the
receiver , does it go thru the vsnl servers ,
cos while configuring these i did'nt come across the option of sending
it thru some particular server (like softhome) .
I have my local host name as dit.edu , so in the above case does the
receiver get the mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED]
while using kmail i was only able to send mail to users on softhome.net. I
had configured kmail to receive mail thru
pop.softhome.net and send it thru the smtp server there but Kmail was
unable to send the mail to users @ hotmail ,yahoo et all.
