basically if u don't go around messing yr linux box, u won't need a utility
of this type....

see the mysql docs... they provide a number of alternatives, though if u
wan't to learn mysql then i guess u shud learn to use the mysql and the
mysqladmin programs they r very powerful and quite easy to learn...... also
most of the examples in the mysql doc uses one of these 2 programs...
