well I stopped getting the message but by NIC is still not working.
When I do a /etc/rc.d/rc2.d "S10network restart" it says "Bringing up
interface eth0 Delaying eth0 initialization. [Failed]"
I have no idea what a N-way hub is. I got this message at all my tty
terminals, the message just comes on the screen, it comes all over my
prompt.
How do I check which daemon is logging it?
The NIC is a Compex integrated netflex 3. It was working fine on the NT mc
that was wiped out by my Mandrake 7.0 installation.
I even changed the IRQ setting to match those in /proc/pci (int his case it
was 11) but still no luck.

Mani,
Naah. This sounds like an error from a 10/100 NIC, trying to talk to a
N-Way Hub. Where are you getting this message? What demon is logging it?
