Pine 4.10 and higher support Maildir's cleanly out of the box. No
recompilation etc required.
For all : I'll strongly reccomend converting your machines to Maildirs.
You get humungous increase in speed, no locking problems, much less CPU
usage etc.. In fact, I currently don't see a downside to it. I''m using it
in several *production* locations, and it rocks. If you need POP3/IMAP,
then you can look at Courier (search freshmeat) It integrates seamlessly
with Maildirs. It also gives you a chance tyo get rid of the unspeakably
bad Univ. of Wash. IMAP stuff.
