[linux-delhi] vi and numeric keypad

Hi all

I can't seem to use the numeric keypad to type numbers in vim-5.4 when
running vim in an xterm. If I run vim with TERM=linux the keypad works ok
but the colors are all horrible.

I would appreciate it very much if you could help me fix my problem.
