I recently got myself a p3@500(810) and installed Mandrake 7.0 on it.
During the installation itself it didn't start the X. I viisted
support.intel and found out that i needed to install 2 rpms for the display
to work . I downld the 2 (XFCom80... & I810..)
and installed them as specified. I also made the necessary changes in
XF86Config file. But still it refuses to start the X. Whenever i give the
command startx it displays the error msg < /dev/agpgart no such device
>. Whats wrong?
Sorry for troubling u . but i am stuck and dunno what to do
